As you know, bariatric surgery is surgery having to do with the overweight, obese individuals, and laparoscopic surgery is minimally invasive surgery. It’s doing all types of surgery through small little cuts. That would be hernias, gall bladders, colons, stomachs, all removed through small little incisions.
Well, bariatric surgery is a field of surgery having to do with the treatment of the morbidly obese, treating the obesity and treating the comorbid medical problems that the obese will develop.
