Annette shares where women can go to get great ovarian cancer information on the internet.

Annette:
To get information on ovarian cancer, there are a number of resources. Our national organization is ovariancancer.org and there is a vast amount of information there about the disease, about risk factors, about genetic testing, about concerns with your family members, survivorship, care-giving.

There are other organizations such as the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. There is also the American Cancer Society and National Cancer Institute. But I would say if you’re looking for information where a woman-to-woman connection can be made, for other women who know what you’re going through, what the fear is, the confusion, seeking direction and sisterhood, come to our group because that’s what we’re about.
